Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

By accessing or using SeeItEarly (seeitearly.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Description of Service

SeeItEarly is a free aggregation platform that collects and displays publicly available information about advance movie screenings, premieres, film festivals, and related entertainment events from third-party sources. We do not organize, host, or manage any of the events listed on our site.

Eligibility

SeeItEarly is a general-audience service intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the site or submitting any information (including by subscribing to our newsletter, downloading a guide, or setting up screening alerts), you represent that you are at least 13 years old and of legal age to form a binding contract, or that your parent or guardian has consented to these Terms on your behalf. If you are under 13, please do not use SeeItEarly or provide any personal information.

No Affiliation with Studios or Distributors

SeeItEarly is an independent aggregator. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any movie studio, film distributor, ticketing platform, or event organizer. All trademarks, logos, and brand names appearing on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

No Guarantee of Availability

Event listings on SeeItEarly are informational only. We do not guarantee that any event will take place as listed, that passes or tickets will be available, or that you will gain admission to any screening. Event details (including dates, times, venues, and availability) are sourced from third parties and may change without notice. Always verify event details with the original source before making plans.

Accuracy of Information

While we strive to keep event information accurate and up to date, SeeItEarly relies on automated data collection from third-party sources. We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on our site. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or outdated information.

Saved Events & Alerts

SeeItEarly lets you save events and subscribe to alerts about screenings in the cities and for the titles you follow. These features are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that any alert will be delivered, or that it will arrive before an event goes on sale, sells out, or takes place. To keep alerts useful, we may cap the number of alerts sent over a given period, and we may batch, delay, modify, or discontinue alerts or saved events at any time. Always verify event details with the original source before making plans.

User Submissions

If you submit a screening tip or event information to SeeItEarly, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that information on our platform. You represent that you have the right to share any information you submit and that it does not violate any third party's rights.

Copyright complaints (DMCA). If you believe content on SeeItEarly infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated copyright agent at dmca@seeitearly.com. A valid notice must include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): your physical or electronic signature, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material (including a URL), your contact information, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf. We act expeditiously on valid notices. If your material was removed by mistake, you may file a counter-notice under § 512(g) at the same address, and we will act on it within 10 business days. Full details, including our agent's registration with the U.S. Copyright Office, are on our DMCA policy page.

Repeat infringers. Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. For a Listed or Featured partner account, a second valid DMCA notice attributed to the account results in a 30-day suspension, and a third results in permanent termination. The full policy is published on our DMCA page.

Intellectual Property

Movie posters, images, and metadata displayed on SeeItEarly are sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) and original event sources. These images are used in thumbnail form for the purpose of identifying and promoting authorized screenings and events, which we believe constitutes fair use. If you are a rights holder and believe your content is being used improperly, please contact us at hello@seeitearly.com and we will promptly address your concern.

Affiliate Links & Third-Party Links

SeeItEarly contains links to third-party websites and may include affiliate links. When you click these links, you leave our site and are subject to the third party's terms and privacy policies. We may earn a small commission from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links at no additional cost to you. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, or practices of any third-party website.

Per the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR § 255), our recommendations are made in good faith based on independent evaluation. Affiliate relationships do not influence which events we list or how we rank them. Every event surfaced on the site is selected on availability and relevance, not commercial arrangement.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access SeeItEarly at a rate that degrades service for other users.
  • Systematically extract, copy, or harvest listings or event data from SeeItEarly, whether by scraping, crawling, or bulk download, for republication, redistribution, resale, or use in a competing product, dataset, or service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
  • Submit false, misleading, or spam content.
  • Use SeeItEarly for any unlawful purpose.
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without permission.

Limitation of Liability

SeeItEarly is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SeeItEarly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of time, inconvenience, or inability to attend an event, arising from your use of the site.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SeeItEarly and its operators from third-party claims, losses, or damages arising from (a) your willful misconduct or negligence, (b) your breach of these Terms, (c) content you submit that infringes a third party's rights, or (d) your violation of any applicable law. This obligation does not extend to claims caused by SeeItEarly's own conduct.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SeeItEarly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

General Provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the policies linked from this page, constitute the entire agreement between you and SeeItEarly regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.

Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or utility outages, labor disputes, governmental actions, or failures of third-party services or data sources.
