Doesn't this compete with Gofobo, 1iota, and the other RSVP platforms?

No. And it's important to us that it doesn't. We never host the RSVP form, never republish redemption codes, and we send qualified traffic to whatever platform you use. We're a structured-data discovery layer; you keep the funnel.

What if you already list our events?

Three things change when you partner. (1) Your URLs move from our pull queue to your submission queue, so you control timing and accuracy. (2) Your events get a visible ⭐ badge crediting you. (3) You get a monthly report on what your traffic does on our side. It's the same data we already collect; we just hand it back to you.

Listed or Featured, which am I, and can I pick?

Listed is the free, self-serve default: anyone we credit gets it, instantly. Featured you can't self-select, we award it to a small rotating set (≤ 6 at a time) of standout partners we choose to amplify with a homepage spot, a profile page, and editorial features. Apply and we review. It is earned recognition, not a toggle, which is the whole point of the signal.

How is Featured different from Sponsor?

Featured is earned: ≤6 partners at a time, awarded by application, free. Sponsor is paid: a studio, theatre, or distributor buying a specific placement (newsletter takeover, city sponsor block, homepage 'Sponsored screening' card). Sponsored placements are always labeled per FTC 16 CFR 255. We never let them confuse the editorial sort. Separately, standout events (premieres, opening nights, advance screenings) may be editorially Featured on the home page: curated, free, and any tier, never a paid slot.

Where do my events show up?

For now, events you submit appear on the SeeItEarly homepage once we approve them, and standout ones can earn the curated homepage 'Featured' spotlight (clearly badged). They also carry your ⭐ credit on their own event pages and link to your /partners/[slug] profile. We don't sell rank: the default sort is neutral (chronological + distance), published at /disclosures. (Broader listing and city-page placement may come later.)

What happens to events you aggregated before I became a partner?

We back-fill: every past event from your domain gets the ⭐ badge retroactively so your attribution is consistent. Click-attribution data from before partnership doesn't transfer (that's why we recommend partnering early).

Is there a contract? Exclusivity?

No contract for Listed. Featured is a 90-day reviewable agreement, non-exclusive. Sponsor is an IO per campaign. You can leave any tier any time. We just flip the badge off.

How do I push events programmatically?

Featured-tier partners get a write-only API key. POST events to /api/v1/partner/events with a TMDB ID plus venue plus start time. Rate-limited per partner. The API is intentionally not public-read: we keep the catalog closed so it can't be bulk re-published.
