CCAP was established in October 1974 by eleven local churches under the name Christian Cooperative Action Program. Our founders recognized that while each congregation was doing good work individually, we could do more for our neighbors by working together. In 1975, we transitioned to the Congregational Community Action Project. By working with interfaith communities, we could better support our mission to help local families who could support themselves three weeks of the month but struggle financially to make it that fourth week. About Monty Python and the Holy Grail
King Arthur, accompanied by his squire, recruits his Knights of the Round Table, including Sir Bedevere the Wise, Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot and Sir Galahad the Pure. On the way, Arthur battles the Black Knight who, despite having had all his limbs chopped off, insists he can still fight. They reach Camelot, but Arthur decides not to enter, as "it is a silly place".
