The Fairfax Symphony Orchestra joins legendary violinist Itzhak Perlman for Cinema Serenade, an evening celebrating some of the most beloved music in film history. This promises to be an unforgettable concert where the magic of cinema meets the brilliance of a live orchestra. Perlman first recorded many of the works with composer John Williams on the 1997 album Cinema Serenade. Conducted by Christopher Zimmerman, this Center for the Arts co-presentation showcases the orchestra’s rich sound alongside Perlman’s incomparable lyricism.
