The AMITYVILLE franchise has churned out entry after entry in the nearly 50 years since the release of the original THE AMITYVILLE HORROR. Though never a critical darling, there are some genuine gems to be found in the '90s entries, which took on a more anthological approach with haunted objects that escaped the walls of the evil house. The biggest gem of them all is the aptly-titled AMITYVILLE 1992: IT'S ABOUT TIME, aka the one with the killer clock. HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER 2 director Tony Randel is self-aware enough to know not to take this ridiculous plot all that seriously, delivering a bonkers horror film featuring some marvelous practical effects courtesy of KNB Effects Group.
