Katie holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of Denver, where she studied under Linda Wang. She also holds a Master of Elementary Education from Pepperdine University.Now at home with her 3 girls (11, 6, and 5 months), Katie is returning to her first love of performing. Music is a way for Katie to express emotions and connect with others. The Romance is certainly a perfect way to do both. Katie is thankful to Amy Beach for her bravery in advancing women’s place in music and to the PSO for the opportunity to share this piece with the community.
